Everything on the menu is made daily from scratch with dishes like “Crab Danton”, a soulful blend of jumbo, lump, blue crab meat with Nix’s signature white garlic remolaude sauce; “Debris”, juicy, tender, slow-cooked pot roast layered with melted Swiss cheese served between two hunks of crusty French bread; hearty bowls of steaming gumbos; and Gulf classics from Stuffed Flounder to Shrimp Creole. Guests should also plan to save room for Danton’s childhood favorite dessert, his mom Patsy’s famous chocolate “monkey” cake.
